Meet The Chicago Hope Board

Chicago HOPE board members share a deep appreciation for the role models and mentors that were instrumental in the formative years of their lives. For that reason, the board is committed to being that guiding light, inspiration and resource for Chicago HOPE students. Our programs provide students with both personal and professional development so that after graduation, each award recipient is able to flourish in his or her community and become a mentor to the next generation of students.

Our Board is a network of professionals that dedicates its time, talents, and resources to mentoring young adults. We believe engaging every student in close personal relationships is the key to developing personal and professional confidence.

Our Mission is to provide four-year college scholarships and mentoring to Chicago Public High School graduating seniors with limited financial resources. Our program objectives are to ensure that every one of our students graduate college, find career placement in the year they graduate, and emerge as a leader in their community.

Our Purpose is to provide Chicago with a network of young professionals committed to giving back to their community. We do this by focusing on our three pillars: Scholarships, Mentoring, and Community Service. Through our signature Career Day and Community Service events, every student has the opportunity to network with professionals, give back to their community, and lead events side by side with their mentor.
